Terms and Conditions of Enrolment

General

 

1. Your enrolment is confirmed after you complete the registration, make a full payment for the class, and receive a confirmation from Delovely Enterprises (“We”). 

2. Please follow the instructions of the staff and the class instructor at all times. We reserve the right to prohibit entry to any person to a class, or eject any person from a class where the person fails to follow the instruction of the instructor or where we have reasonable grounds to do so including without limitation where the person behaves in such a manner that affects the operation of the class or the enjoyment of other attendees. If you are removed or denied entry you will not be entitled to a refund.

3. We do not accept any responsibility whatsoever to any person or property or injury suffered to any person whilst at our premises. We are not liable for any injury or damaged caused due to incorrect usage of our equipment. Please abide the instructions from the instructors and the staff.

4. For food safety, strictly no outside food or drink is to be consumed on the premises, unless a permission has been given by an authorized staff.

5. Persons entering the premises agree to indemnify us against any loss or liability, cost, expense or damage arising from or in relation to the entry by the person.

6. Please take care of your personal belongings. We accept no responsibilities for lost or stolen belongings.

7. Drinking and smoking of cigarettes or any tobacco products are strictly not allowed.

8. Photographs may be taken during the class and shared in our newsletter or on our social media.

On The Day

 

9. Course instructor(s) will start the classes at the scheduled time and we cannot wait for latecomers.

10. The class is only open to enrolled students. Family members (elderly/children/partners/friends, etc.) are not allowed to attend, and pets are not allowed.

11. During the class, please carefully follow the course instructor’s demonstrations. Overly free expression will affect your own and other students' learning results and the progress of the class.

12. Please do not take photos during the class unless an authorized person gives permission. Video and audio recordings are strictly prohibited in the class. After completing the work, we will arrange a time for photography. Please set your phone to silent during class.

13. If sharp tools are used during the course, please be extremely careful and pay attention to your own and other students' safety.

14. Please do not wear open-toed shoes.

15. Display cakes in the classroom are award-winning sugar artworks, which are fragile and cannot be restored. Please do not touch them. If damaged, compensation will be pursued.

16. If there is a lunch break, you can choose to bring your own lunch or order from the restaurant nearby.

17. Please keep course materials and notes in a safe place. The course materials provided during class cannot be provided in electronic form. The copyright of the course materials belongs to DeLovely. Please do not share them without permission.

18. After the course, please tidy up your desk, clean and put away the tools you have used, and leave the apron in the classroom. 

 

Postponement and Cancellation

 

19. Classes may be postponed or canceled by us due to any circumstances outside our reasonable control including, but not limited to, any fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, act of government, act of war, act of terror, act of God, or an act from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever. The tuition or deposit paid by students will be reserved for the next scheduled class. No refund will not be provided.

 

20. If a student wants to postpone an enrolled class due to personal reasons, a written application must be given by the student to us via email or WeChat at least 7 days before the scheduled date. If no written application is given within 7 days before the scheduled class date, the tuition or deposit paid will be forfeited and no refund will be provided.

When a written postponement application is given to and accepted by us at least 7 days before the scheduled class date, the tuition or deposit paid by students will be reserved for the next scheduled class.

 

21. If a student wants to cancel an enrolled class due to personal reasons, a written application must be given to and accepted by us at least 7 days before the scheduled class date, otherwise the tuition or deposit paid will be forfeited and no refund will be provided.

When a written cancellation application is given to and accepted by us at least 7 days before the scheduled class date,

a) the unused tuition balance can be transferred to another person. The unused tuition balance to be transferred is calculated as follows:

The tuition or deposit paid - the price of tools and gifts obtained by the student - tuition discounts obtained by the student - the cost of courses that have been completed - processing fee of $90  

OR

b) the unused balance can be converted into credit for other courses and cake orders with DeLovely. The unused balance that can be converted into a credit is calculated as follows:

22. If a class is postponed or canceled due to any circumstances other than those mentioned in Clause 19, Clause 20, and Clause 21, the tuition or deposit paid by students will be reserved for the next scheduled class.

 

23. We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or remove the Terms and Conditions of Enrolment.
